Windows 7 was released to the public in October 22, 2009. Although there is a newer version that is Windows 8 and Windows 10 , Windows 7 still many favorite by many people.



I created this article to help friends who do not know very well about how to install windows 7 properly .I write this article as best as possible so that you can fully understand each step I described.Oh yes , do not forget to prepare for the following matters :


Prepare the Windows 7 DVD in advance , because we will learn how to install windows 7 from DVDROM .Setting the BIOS to boot from CD / DVD .Backup important data beforehandIf you installed is a laptop ? 1. The first step , press any key to start the installation .

2. Please select Indonesian ( Indonesia ) on Time and currency format . For Language to install and Keyboard or input method leave the default . Then select Next.

3. To begin the installation of windows 7. Select Install now 

4. Check I accepted the license terms , then select Next 

5.Click Custom (advanced).

6. If you want to reinstall , downgrade or upgrade windows operating systems at the same time want the data to another partition is not lost , simply delete Disk 0 Partition 2 ( C :) partition and Disk 0 Partition 1 : System Reserved , later the second automatic partitioning that you delete before becoming unallocated Space .Please create a new partition again ( in automatic , the partition into Disk 0 Partition 2 ) and make the Disk 0 Partition 2 as the location for the installation of windows 7 , then Next. Confused? See figure below.For those who want to re-install , downgrade or upgrade to Windows 7 at the same time do not want the data in another partition is missing , please skip steps 7-10 . And for the first time to install windows 7 once the HDDnya still smooth and has not been previously installed Windows operating system , please skip this step number 6 .

 7. The next step is to partition the hard drive space. Select Drive options (advanced ) > New . Then specify the size of the partition / drive . Then select Apply when done.

8. Select OK for the manufacture of windows system files or commonly called the system reserved partition only.

9. Please make two partitions in the same manner as step number 7. Actually , how many partitions depending on individual taste . In this tutorial , I just made ​​a second partition .

10. Please select Disk 0 Partition 2 as the location for the installation of windows. Then select Next. Actually , you can choose the installation location anywhere , but I suggest you put on Disk 0 Partition 2 .

11. The installation process windows 7 took place . This process takes approximat
ely 20 minutes . During the process, the computer will reboot / restart itself several times .
